It is always nice to bring friends to see an artist you really enjoy and watch them put on an incredible show!
That is how it went last night with Julian Velard at Rams Head Tavern. He was funny and in great voice, with a hot band behind him.
Got a chance to talk with Julian after the show and our boy is growing up! The independent Singer/Songwriter from Brooklyn has just signed a deal with EMI U.K. AND next week he's heading to England to begin work on a full-length album.
Some very exciting news for an artist that WTMD has been keeping an eye on for the better part of 2007.

Eva Castillo opened the show for Julian last night and not only is the Baltimore songstress a lovely and talented artist, but also a sweet and humble person. Eva plays tonight at Hunt Valley Town Center.
