While, of course, it's a sad benchmark..the Godfather of Soul's music celebrates life, energy and something burning inside us all. He just had IT! James Brown channeled the human condition in his growl, his wail, his grunts, his feet. He lived it all- the spiritual, the carnal, the jubilation...the blues.
