I just saw this guy in Rochester, NY and man what a set of pipes this dude has, big things are coming soon for Ryan. Great voice, great stage presence, he's got it all!
A couple of months ago, I heard a radio interview (NPR?) with a young man who had fairly recently discovered the great soul singers of the sixties and early seventies. This being my favorite music, I was blown away to hear his passionate, old-school, soul-shouting renditions of a couple of songs, one self-penned and an old classic. No young folks are doing R&B like this anymore---just bought the CD and am blissed-out. God Bless Ryan Shaw!!!
