Working behind the scenes at TMD definately has some perks like listening to your fave station all day, catching guests perform live, and daily hearing amazing, new and interesting music blast from our Program Director's office. Fortunately, Mike (our PD), never seems to mind when I break his concentration to ask - "Who IS that?" As was the case with- The Lizard Song- on Etienne De Rocher's debut album - one of my Top 10!

Embarrassed to admit this, but I was so absorbed completing paperwork to pay the station's bills that I actually missed Etienne's performance - even though I gave him a parking permit & asked his name like 3 times!! BTW, I did catch Etienne before he left and was able to shout, "LOVE your music!" - to which I received a great big smile and thanks! (another perk!)
